Transportation (Snow Routes)
Adverse road conditions, such as snow and ice, may require changes to limited transportation routes. When limited transportation routes are in effect, emergency bus stops (Snow Routes) will be used in the morning and also in the afternoon, unless otherwise announced by the district.
Please follow this step-by-step process to find your student’s limited transportation routes (snow routes).
1. Navigate to the Tahoma School District snow routes Google Drive folder .
2. Find the folder with your student’s route number and open the folder to find each school’s AM and PM snow route for that route number.
3. Looking for AM or PM routes? These are differentiated by “A” or “P” (example: 87S A RCES = AM snow route for Rock Creek Elementary School Bus Route 87)
*Please note that many route numbers apply to more than one school. Make sure to select the route with your student’s school abbreviation:
- THS - Tahoma High School
- STMS - Summit Trail Middle School
- MVMS - Maple View Middle School
- CRES - Cedar River Elementary School
- GPES - Glacier Park Elementary School
- LWES - Lake Wilderness Elementary School
- SLES - Shadow Lake Elementary School
- RCES - Rock Creek Elementary School
- TES - Tahoma Elementary School
